The Civil Society Action on Education for all, CSACEFA has elected new interim leaders in Ebonyi State, with renewed commitment to strengthening advocacy on policies that will ensure quality education for all in the State. The election of the new interim executive, followed a meeting to revive the coalition and make it more effective in the State.
Addressing members of the coalition in the meeting and election held at IGHUSUF Africa office in Abakaliki on 2nd August, 2025, the State Coordinator, Mr. Darlington Onwe charged members of CSACEFA to work as a team to further strengthen advocacies and programmes that encourages quality and accessible education for all in Ebonyi State. He noted that the national office of the coalition is ready to support the State in all it’s activities, promising that the new leaders will carry all members along in running the affairs of the coalition.
National Policy Advisor of CSACEFA who joined the meeting online, explained that membership of the coalition are strictly for those who have shown evidence of successful programmes geared towards education, and are certified after due diligence by the national Secretariat during its Annual General Convention. She encouraged members to sit up to their responsibilities, stressing that Ebonyi needs to level up in their activities.

Addressing concerns of members on registration, the national advisor directed all legal CSOs seeking to be members of the coalition to register through the State Executive.
Other elected interim leaders of the Coalition in Ebonyi State include Comrade Fortuna Okey as Secretary and Israel Ekene Mbam as the coalition Treasurer. They are to serve on interim capacity pending when the national office will approve official conduct of the State election.
