In a renewed drive to promote self-reliance and sustainable skills development, the C-Sagas Charity Foundation has officially launched its 2026 Skill Acquisition Programme, bringing together members, partners, and beneficiaries under the inspiring theme, “Empowering Lives Through Skill Acquisition.”
The programme was flagged off at Algon Place, Abakaliki on 12th January 2026. The event commenced on a solemn note with an opening prayer by the Coordinator of Women and Children Group, C-Sagas Charity Foundation, Hon. Mrs. Ngozi Igwe, who committed the programme into God’s hands and prayed for wisdom, success, and a positive impact on all participants. Her prayer set a reflective and hopeful tone for the event.
In his opening remarks, the State Coordinator, Dr. Obisi Nweke, warmly welcomed members and guests. He commended the visionary leadership of the foundation’s founder, Arc. Chief Christian Asaga Nwali, PhD, describing the programme as a timely intervention aimed at equipping individuals with practical skills for economic independence. Dr. Nweke further encouraged beneficiaries to approach the training with commitment, discipline, and dedication, stressing that the success of the programme largely depends on their seriousness and willingness to learn.
Speaking on behalf of the programme’s partners, Dr. Ifeanyi Nweli expressed deep appreciation to the founder of the C-Sagas Charity Foundation and the entire management team for conceiving and sustaining such a transformative initiative. He noted that partnerships of this nature play a critical role in community development and assured continued support toward achieving the foundation’s objectives. He further admonished the beneficiaries to take full advantage of the rare opportunity provided by the foundation to develop themselves and become self-reliant. Dr. Nweli also remarked that it is rare to see an individual like Arc. Christian Asaga Nwali, who consistently uses his hard-earned resources to champion a better society for all.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Miss Anyigor Esther, expressed gratitude to the founder of the foundation and the entire management team for the opportunity. She promised that the beneficiaries would make judicious and responsible use of the programme, not only to improve their personal lives but also to contribute positively to the foundation and society at large. Her remarks were met with applause, reflecting shared optimism and determination.
The event concluded with a closing prayer by the Head of the Medical Team, Dr. Chinedu Idakari, who prayed for good health, protection, and successful outcomes throughout the duration of the programme.
