2027: Wike remains a political asset in Nigeria – Egwu

The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Egwu Chidiebere has stated that the National leader of the Party, Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, CON, remains a national and political asset to the Nation at large.

Egwu who extolled the sterling qualities and doggedness of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, added that Barr. Wike has been able to create a bridge of political unity that cuts across the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC and other opposition political parties in the Country.

He said the former Governor of Rivers State who is also considered a champion of infrastructural development and nicknamed “Mr Project during his tenure, has within the period under review strengthened the capacity of the Party, as well as positioned it for greater exploit ahead of the 2027 general election.

“I must tell you that our national leader is a very prominent political figure within the political arena of this Country. He is a national figure of great repute. He is not only interested in the progress of the PDP but also, on how opposition political parties can be factored into the political scheme of things ahead of the 2027 general election.

“He is a man I admire so much. He has grit, capacity and enduring influence, which has helped to sustain the political landscape of this nation.” He added

Briefing newsmen in Abakaliki, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary called on the National leader of the Party not to be deterred by the activities of those he described as the enemy of the PDP stressing that the Party having gained deep political tap root, was well positioned to navigate through every political waters in the country.

He made it clear that the sustainability of the Party has been championed by Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike who believes in the capacity, tenacity, popularity and undieing legacy of the PDP.

He called on opposition political parties to rally round the national leader of the Party as his political permutations are geared towards giving every opposition political party a pride of place and opportunities within the political arena.

“Nobody should undermine the large-hearetedness of our national leader. His vision is not only to ensure that the PDP remains and retains political relevance for many decades to come but to make sure that opposition political parties do not die in this country.” He explained.

He called on the leadership of the PDP, at both state and national levels to establish a productive working relationship with Chief Ezenwo Nyesom Wike and avoid joining hands with some uninformed politicians to attack the good, laudable initiatives and intentions of the national leader of the Party.
