As Christians all over the world celebrate the death and resurrection of saviour Jesus Christ, the Executive Chairman of Ikwo LGA, Hon. Barr Sunday Basil Nwankwo has called for peace, sacrifice and love for one another.

In his Easter message to Christians and people of Ikwo Noyo Clan, the Council Boss said the life of Love, humility and sacrifice of Jesus Christ should be a model for all believers in order to have a better society devoid of killings, hatred and evil

Part of his message reads; “Christ is risen! Yes He is Alive!! As we celebrate the sacrifices and Supreme price paid by Christ for the Salvation of man, my prayer is that this year’s Easter will inspire you with new hope, happiness, prosperity, and abundance through divine grace

“May we learn to Love ourselves and sacrifice for peace, unity and development of our communities, LGA, State and Nigeria.

“I wish you all Happy Easter celebrations. Cheers!
