Ahead of the two year anniversary of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, the Executive Chairman of Ikwo LGA, Hon. Barr Sunday Basil Nwankwo has continued to effectively supervise ongoing projects in the council.
He was joined in one of his recent projects inspection by the Former Chief Whip of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Humphrey Nwuruku who was said to have decamped from PDP to the ruling APC in the State.
One of the major projects inspected by the Council Boss alongside Hon. Nwuruku and other stakeholders was the ongoing Owse Bridge in Enyibichiri Alike Ikwo.
In his remarks, Barr Nwankwo said he was encouraged by the steady progress of work, adding that the roads and bridges will help to improve access to rural areas. He adds that his administration and that of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru remains committed to delivering modern, functional Bridge, roads and other projects that will serve the good people of Enyibichiri Alike and the entire Ikwo Noyo for generations to come.
Other projects inspected by the Council Boss include roads in Echalike, renovation of Civic centre at Noyo among other projects.
