The immediate past Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State and member, Federal Ports Authority, His Excellency, Barr. Eric Kelechi Igwe has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the approval of Army Training Centre in Ebonyi State. He called on the media to apply publicity on the President’s inclusive governance and laudable projects in Southeast region.
This was contained in the former Deputy Governor’s commendation letter to the President which reads;
“A NOTE OF COMMENDATION TO PRESIDENT ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU ON APPROVAL OF ARMY TRAINING CENTRE IN ABAKALIKI
“I, His Excellency, Barr. (Chief) Eric Kelechi Igwe PhD, Board Member, Nigerian Ports Authority, Ebonyi State Coordinator Renewed Hope Ambassadors and Former Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State express my heartfelt commendations to President ,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR ,for his visionary approval of the establishment of a new Army Training Centre in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Southeast Nigeria. This landmark decision is a testament to the President’s unwavering commitment to ensuring equitable development, strengthening national security, and fostering inclusivity across all regions of the country.
Mr President, the creation of the training center, which joins the ranks of the existing depots in Kaduna and Osogbo, represents a significant step toward decentralizing military training facilities and enhancing the operational readiness of the Nigerian Army.
