In addition to Education, C-SAGAS Foundation Embarks on Free Medical Outreach in Schools

In keeping to it’s mission of charity and community development, the management of C-SAGAS Charity Foundation through the Medical Team headed by a medical consultant at Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki, Dr. Chinedu Idakari has kicked off school medical out reach at Urban Community Primary and Secondary School, Ndufu-Echara.

Speaking at the flag off, the head of the Medical Team, Dr. Idakari said the school medical outreach is planned to cut across all public primary and secondary schools in Ikwo, and aimed at bringing preventive medical care to the grass roots to ensure that children in the rural areas get educated on how to take care of their health, receive medical tests on common diseases and drugs for healthy living.

The principal of Urban Community Secondary School, Mr. Ekuma Joseph and the primary school counterpart, expressed their happiness on the health out reach to their school which according to Mr. Akuma, said that this was the first of it kind since he assumed office as the principal of the school. They both thanked the team and the founder of C-SAGAS Charity Foundation, Arch. Dr. Christian Asaga Nwali PhD for his charitable and selfless services to the people of Ikwo and beyond, and prayed God tobless him abundantly to do more.

The medical outreach was categorized in three segments which includes, Health Education/Talk, Deworming of Primary and Secondary School students and screening of both teachers and students common diseases.

The event was featured by C-SAGAS CHARITY FOUNDATION Medical Team which includes, the leader of the team, Dr. Chinedu Idakari, the secretary of the team, Nurse Ngozi Nwidagu (Mrs), Nurse Jonathan Egwu, member, Scientist Philip Orawo, member and other members with media team representative.
