The Executive Chairman of Ivo Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Emmanuel Ajah has joined the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, other well meaning Ebonyians and beyond to condemn the unfortunate and unprovoked killing of thirteen innocent Ebonyi citizens resident in Ogboji Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State by yet to be identified armed men.
Hon. Ajah in a press release made available in Abakaliki, described such act as barbaric, regrettable and action capable of ingnitig inter State crises if not properly handled. He vehemently condemned the dastardly act which he noted is a heavy crime against God and humanity.
The Ivo Council Boss commiserated with the Ebonyi State Governor, the entire State and the immediate family of those who lost their lives at the unwarranted attack. He calls on Anambra State Government and security agencies to fish out the killers of the innocent Ebonyians and as well investigate on the remote and immediate cause of such barbaric action.
He however commended the youth and people of Ebonyi State for their peaceful nature, calling on them not to take laws into their hands, assuring that Ebonyi State government under the Leadership of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru will continue to prioritize security and welfare of Ebonyi citizens, irrespective of where they live.
