Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has congratulated the people of Ikwo Noyo, for remembering to thank God for his abundant mercies and boundless favours to the people of the clan. Governor Nwifuru said this at Nwanoyo stadium, Ikwo Local Government Area during the interdenominational church thanksgiving, organized by the people of the clan.

Governor Francis Nwifuru, who was represented by the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Moses Ije Odunwa, commended the guest Preacher, and General Overseer of Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai. He maintained that the people of Ikwo Noyo has been enjoying abundant grace of God, since Rev. Ukpai prayed for the clan so many years ago, and prayed for God’s continuous blessings upon the clergyman.

He acknowledged the love of God upon the people of Ikwo Noyo, and enjoined them to enhance their love for one another, so as to continuously enjoy unending grace of God.

Earlier in his welcome address at the event, the Executive Chairman of Ikwo Local Government Area, Barr Sunday Basil Nwankwo, enumerated reasons for hosting the interdenominational church thanksgiving. He said God remembered the Clan in many areas through the prophetic declarations of His servant, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai in the year 2000, hence the people of the Clan deemed it necessary to return thanks to God for his abundant benevolence through the special thanksgiving service.

Barr Nwankwo thanked Rev. Uma Ukpai for coming, and formally welcomed him to Ikwo Noyo, and unveiled the expectations of the people of Ikwo Noyo on the coming of the Clergyman to include;
A new Ikwo Noyo, with greater number of Local Government Council, a new Ikwo Noyo that will be totally purified in the peace of Almighty God, more economically viable, and a new Ikwo with greater political participations in the State, country and in the world at large.

The Guest Preacher, and General Overseer of Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai, extolled the people of Ikwo Noyo for the interdenominational Church thanksgiving, adding that the feat was foremost since his many years of evangelistic mission, and made prophetic declarations on the advancement of Ikwo Noyo.
