Sun First Lady Award: Mrs. Nwifuru Renews Commitment to Ebonyi Peoples’ Welfare

The wife of the Governor of Ebonyi State Chief Mrs. Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru has reiterated her commitment to continue to work for the good of Ebonyians and Nigeria. She made the statement while receiving the First Lady of the year award by Sun Newspaper.

The prestigious award was held at the convention center, Eko hotel and Suite, Victoria Island Lagos on Saturday 1st March, 2025.

The award ceremony was organized to celebrate and recognize outstanding achievements in different sectors of the country.

While receiving her award the First Lady of Ebonyi State appreciated the management and staff of Sun Newspaper for the recognition and for organizing a wonderful event.

Presenting the award the Sen Orji Uzo Kalu thanked Mrs Nwifuru for all her hard work and for the support she gives her husband and the people of Ebonyi State.

Highlights of the ceremony were presentation of several awards to different governors and other personalities.
