TCPPI Flags Off 2025 Scholarship for Indigent students in Ebonyi State

A non governmental organisations, the Child’s Place of Plan Initiative, TCPPI has commenced implementation of her annual scholarship for Indigent but brilliant students selected from the thirteen Local Government Areas in Ebonyi State.

Speaking at the commencement of the programme in Abakaliki, the President and Founder of the NGO, Amb Reuben Anoke who spoke through Amb. Kelechi Agwu, congratulated the thirteen students who emerged the best from their respective Local Government Areas in the scholarship exams. He explained that the organisation will monitor the students in their respective schools, adding that the scholarship will cover their school fees, books and upkeep for the period of six years, beginning from Junior Secondary School one to Senior Secondary three.

Also speaking, the National Coordinator of The Child’s Place of plan Initiative, TCPPI, Amb. Israel Ekene Mbam, said the Initiative was conceived by some individuals who benefited from the scholarship programme of the first Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Dr. Sam Egwu and wife while in office. He noted that the TCPPI Scholarship programme will continue to encourage and support Indigent and brilliant students in public schools in Ebonyi State and beyond.

Mr. Mbam extolled Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s education policy, which have revived both local and international scholarship in the State. He promised that the organisation will continue to complement government efforts and called on beneficiaries of the scholarship to take their studies seriously in order to justify their selection.

Others including Mr. Chris Obasi and one of the supervisors, Mr. Victor Dorawa Koreyo thanked the Child’s Place of plan Initiative for giving back to the society. They advised parents whose children are benefiting from the scholarship to support them to excel in their studies in order to encourage the sponsors to do more.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Miss Chinelo Emmanuella Nwogo, Eze Olanma Joy and Ole Godswill Chidi thanked TCPPI for the scholarship opportunity and promised that they will not disappoint the organisation and their parents. They also prayed God to bless and reward Amb Reuben Anoke and his team bountifully.

The TCPPI 2025 scholarship flag off meeting had in attendance staff of the organisation, parents of the benefiting students, local government supervisors of the Exams and all the benefiting students.
