A support group made up of youths and stakeholders across Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State; United Ikwo Youths for Good Governance, have called on Arc Christian Asaga Nwali to formally declare interest for the Ebonyi Central Senatorial seat in the forthcoming 2027 general elections. The group also endorsed Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for Second Term in office.
In a communiqué issued at the solidarity walk on April 4, 2026, the group urged Arc Nwali to formally declare his interest within twenty days, assuring that they will mobilize support and votes for the duo in the election.
The group made up of representatives from the 20 political wards in Ikwo LGA, including members in the diaspora, described Nwali as a distinguished leader with proven capacity, citing his academic achievements, professional track record, and humanitarian contributions to Ikwo communities. They noted that his leadership qualities, accessibility, and commitment to youth empowerment and rural development make him the most suitable candidate to represent Ebonyi Central at the National Assembly.

They called on Arc Nwali, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of C-Sagas Group, to accept the “call to service” and contest for the Ebonyi Central senatorial seat in 2027, insisting that failure to accept the call within the stipulated period would prompt them to independently procure nomination and expression of interest forms on his behalf under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
They further urged all stakeholders in Ikwo, including traditional rulers, women groups, artisans, and religious leaders, to rally behind Arc Nwali and support his choice, stressing the need for unity and collective action in advancing the political interests of the area.

The group commended Governor Nwifuru for what they described as his commitment to infrastructure development and human capacity building, adding that continuity in governance would ensure the completion of ongoing projects in the state.

The United Ikwo Youths for Good Governance also pledged to mobilize support for the Governor’s re-election campaigns and appealed to the governor to, in turn, support Nwali’s senatorial ambition, noting that such collaboration would enhance development in Ebonyi Central Senatorial Zone.
The communiqué concluded with a call for unity among Ikwo people, emphasizing their resolve to pursue the outlined objectives with determination and a shared vision for progress.
“We, the United Ikwo Youths, wholeheartedly adopt and affirm this Communiqué as the true expression of our collective will. We call upon our community leaders, elders, women, and all sons and daughters of Ikwo to unite behind these resolutions. Fully aware that our destiny is in our hands, we pledge to pursue these objectives with relentless energy, determination, and a unified purpose.”
